Warm Bodies; Warm Hearts: Donation Drive for the Concord Unhoused

We are so grateful to have a warm, cozy studio to move our bodies in during the winter. However, we know many don’t have that same privilege. We are teaming up with our friends from Concord Kind to gather cold-weather gear & more for the Concord-area unhoused. Top-needed new or gently used items include:

  • Adult winter coats & boots

  • Sleeping bags & blankets

  • All men’s warm clothing

  • Tents

  • Packaged snacks & drinks

  • HotHands hand-warmers

  • Wool socks

  • Mittens & gloves

  • Backpacks

  • Dog leashes, coats, booties, & food

  • Winter hats

  • Pads & tampons

  • New women’s undergarments - all sizes

  • New men’s undergarments - especially L, XL, XXL, & XXXL

If you’re uncertain if we’ll take it, just reach out and ask! A bin will be in our studio all through December & January, making it easy to drop items off before class. If you want to arrange a drop-off at our location and cannot make it to class, just e-mail cassie@worthymindandmovement.com and we’ll be happy to set something up.

A team member of Concord Kind will routinely swing by and pick up items to ensure those in need get them ASAP. Concord Kind works directly with the unhoused, hand-delivering items and food whenever possible. We are honored to help them in their mission and appreciate your support!
